The Three “Must-Do”s Of Large-scale Office Cleaning

You have been in the office cleaning business for a while, you have built a strong team and grind through your daily tasks with growing confidence in your skills and knowledge. And then one day, you find the Holy Grail!

It may come in the form of a phone call or an official email, or fax – a response to the many offers you have sent to the big fish in your local business community. You have landed your first large-scale office cleaning job! Before you punch the air in jubilation, remember to keep your head cool – the hard tasks are ahead, not behind you.

Here are the three “must-do” things you should always observe when you approach a big corporate client:

  1. Time management. In the corporate world, being on time is being at least ten minutes early. One late arrival or deadline delay might be all it takes to cancel your contract.
  2. Do not take jobs that you know are beyond your level. The idea that “I will say yes now and figure it out later” is a recipe for disaster, especially when you work with corporations that thrive on perfection.
  3. Do not settle for good. A job done OK is not a problem when you deal with homeowners. Business managers expect to receive top-notch performance. Keep it in mind that there are dozens of competitors in line, waiting to take your place.
